How much will delivery of my order cost? We have a single delivery charge of just 99p per order. Orders of £30 or above are delivered free. This includes most Pond One pumps, all Pond One ClariTec Filters, ClearTec UV clarifiers and Litec Pond and garden lighting sets.
Do you have a minimum order value? No. All orders are welcome, the delivery charge remains at a flat 99p.
Do you stock real Pond One Parts or similar replacements? We are an authorised Pond One spares distributor. All our parts are original, UK spec, Pond One spares.
Are the products on the Pond Parts website in-stock or do you buy them in when a customer places an order? With rare exceptions all Pond One equipment and spares are in stock and ready for immediate dispatch. Some special orders may take a little longer to obtain - but we receive new shipments from Pond One several times per week so waiting time should be minimal. We will always keep you informed of any issues with your order.
How quickly will my order be dispatched? All in-stock Pond One items are dispatched the same day - typical order processing time (from receiving your order to packing) is only a few minutes.
I'm not sure what I need No problem. We know the whole Pond One range inside out and back to front. Just make a note of which product you need a spare for and either give us a call or send a brief E-Mail - either way, we are sure we can help you decide.
How long do Ultra Violet (UV) tubes last? Although some tubes continue to function for a long time, their output of UV energy falls to critical levels after six months - encouraging the return of green water algae blooms. For best results change the tube in your ClearTec clarifier every six months. The same applies to the UV tube in your Pond One ClariTec Filter.
Do your UV Tubes just fit Pond One filters and clarifiers? No! We carry a full range of UV tubes which cover just about every pond clarifier and aquarium sterilizer on the UK market. In fact we probably hold more UV tubes than anyone else in the trade.
How long do Pond One Claritec filter cartridges last? The foam filter cartridges used in Claritec pond filters work very hard due to the amount of solid waste typically produced in a garden pool, so it's essential to buy a new cartridge each season in order to maintain performance.
I've ordered the wrong spare!! Am I stuck with it? None of us are perfect. If the part(s) is unused, in its original packaging and was not a special order we are usually prepared to help out with a prompt exchange. Just give us a call to discuss the matter...we may laugh, but we can usually help.
I've ordered the wrong Pump! Can you help? We will consider exchanging a pond pump for another model where a customer has mis-ordered. However, the pump must be returned to us in a new condition not covered in grunge from the bottom of your pool!
My Pond was clear but now it's all cloudy and I can't see my fish Many ponds are clear during the winter months. However as the sun starts to shine algae cells bloom and make the pool very cloudy. A good UV clarifier or, even better, a combined UV and filter will destroy the algae and clear the water. If you already have a UV clarifier and your pond remains cloudy it's either broken or it needs a new UV tube!
I've heard a lot about the Ceramisub biological media included in Pond One Claritec Filters. Is it as good as they say? Ceramisub is light and easy to deal with but offers a massive surface area for bacteria to grow on. It was developed for aquarium use and is far better than any biological media currently on the market for pond use. For best results change a little bit regularly to prevent the fine pores that Ceramisub is covered with all getting clogged up at once.
I need a new pond filter but have a good pump already will a Pond one Filter work with any pump? Yes, as long as the pump has sufficient flow, any Pond One filter will work with any other brand of pump. The same goes for Pond One filters and UV clarifiers - both of these items are happy with another filter given that it is capable of accepting the flow produced by the pump.
My Pond holds a little over 5,000 Litres. Will a 5,000 litre filter still work well with it? It might or it might not
Sadly pushing a piece of equipment to it's limit like this often produces patchy results. It's aways best to choose the next size up and rest easy knowing that you have some built in leeway what ever happens
I've searched your site and I can't see the Pond One spare I need!! Don't worry - give us a quick call and we'll soon put you right.
